Delta Gamma

Epsilon Epsilon Chapter at Tennessee Technological University

Philanthropy Events

Our official motto is "Do Good" and Epsilon Epsilon lives up to this motto by being highly involved within our foundation, community, and campus. Below are some of the events that we participate in throughout the year.

Anchor Splash

Anchor Splash is the event of the year! Organizations on campus, including fraternities, sororities, and campus organizations, participate in synchronized swimming routines coached by sisters. All of our proceeds go to our Foundation, Service for Sight, and to the Tennessee School for the Blind located in Nashville, TN. Events leading up to Anchor Splash include: penny drops, “Soak a DG” (water gun war on DG sisters for a day!), and “Anchor Hunt!” (Campus scavenger hunt for the golden anchor!).

Tennessee School for the Blind

Several times in the semester, our sisters visit the Tennessee School for the Blind in Nashville, Tennessee. We plan various activities with the kids, such as: crafts, holiday themed dances, or the favorite activity of the TSB kids, BINGO! Our chapter has also been involved in helping out with their school prom, which is always so special to be a part of. We cherish the time that we get to spend with the children at TSB!

Golden Anchor Program

Members of  Phi Gamma Delta helped out with Cedar Hills Prom this year.

Delta Gamma Fraternity as a whole encourages all chapters to participate in the Golden Anchor program, which aids and assists the elderly. Our chapter coordinates a "Senior Prom" at Cedar Hills Assisted Living in Cookeville, TN once a year. Typically, we pair up with a fraternity for this dance, so there will be both men and women there to dance with the residents. We also pamper the ladies by fixing their hair and nails before the prom.
